2025 IEEE QTC Distinguished QCE25 Technical Paper Award

K.-C. (Louis) Chen has won the IEEE Quantum Technical Community (QTC) Distinguished QCE Technical Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Quantum Conference and Engineering (QCE25) for paper:
Chen-Yu Liu, Kuan-Cheng (Louis) Chen, Yi-Chien Chen, Samuel Yen-Chi Chen, Wei-Hao Huang, Wei-Jia Huang and Yen-Jui Chang, "Quantum-Enhanced Parameter-Efficient Learning for Typhoon Trajectory Forecasting."

In additional, another paper by DQC members has been selected as the Second Best Technical Paper in the Advances in Photonic Quantum Computing Track at the same conference:

£3m research grant for collaboration at the quantum computing and ICT interface

Researchers have been awarded an EPSRC grant to bring together expertise in quantum computing and ICT to develop distributed quantum computing.
The grant, worth a total of £3 million, has been announced by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) following calls for cutting-edge research at the interface between quantum computing and other ICT areas.
